Project

The Module addresses the most debated issues of EU mobility and migration law. It is intended to provide high-quality learning opportunities to students, professionals and the general public.

The teaching activities include an advanced course on EU mobility and migration law and a yearly Turin Winter School on EU Integration, Law and Justice. The course is delivered within the framework of the Master Programme on European Legal Studies of the Law Department of the University of Turin. However, attendance is open also to students from other UniTo programmes, such as International Relations and Foreign Languages and Linguistic Mediation.

The Turin Winter School addresses topical issues of the European integration process. It combines multiple disciplines (eg.: law, political sciences, sociology, economics) as well as theoretical and practical approaches to the topics under consideration. Attendance is open to Italian and foreign bachelor and master students, graduates, PhD candidates, early career academics and professionals. A specific call for applications will be launched every year in order to select the participants.

The teaching staff of the Module combines renowned senior academics and early-career researchers and post-docs from various European Universities.

Besides these learning opportunities, several events will be organised within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module on "EU Mobility and Migration Law", such as academic conferences, the TO-EU series of seminars and workshops addressed to students, professionals, post-graduates and general audience, and a contest for the best written essay on the current advances of the EU integration process, involving high school students.

The deliverables of the Module range from academic publications to students' papers. This website will host these materials, which are intended to promote knowledge and awareness on the highly disputed topics covered by the Module.
